Our Beliefs

We believe in the Word of God as the sole authority and is God's Word to mankind (2Tim. 3:16).  We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and that he was manifest in the flesh, died for our sins and was risen the third day (1Tim. 3:16) (Isa. 9:6)  We believe that Jesus Christ is God and that He is still the same today, yesterday, and forever (Heb. 13:8).  We believe that salvation consists of being "born again" of both the water and the spirit (Jn. 3:3), (Mk. 16:16), (Mt. 28:19), (Acts 2:38).  We practice and believe that every man is given a measure of faith and must grow in Christ through faithfulness and obedience as he or she is led of the Holy Spirit through the teaching and preaching of the scripture.  We believe that the church is victorious through Christ and that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together on the first day of the week (Heb. 10:25).  We believe in praying for the sick by annointing them oil in the name of the Lord (Ja. 5:14).  We believe in Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord and we are imperfect but are striving to be better for the Kingdom of God. Our current discipleship program highlights all of these points as the "first step is to follow then lead and serve.  Each "step" recognizes the need for growth for each discipleship within His Kingdom.
