Our Beliefs

While you are our guest at House of Prayer you will feel the presence of the Lord within your midst.  You will be challenged within God's word to utilize your gifts within God's kingdom. Moreover, each Sunday, you will leave with a renewed strength, desire, purpose and plan of action to make it all happen.

Here at House of Prayer, we believe that God's love is unconditional and that Jesus Christ is the one true God.  He is still the same today, yesterday, and forever (Heb. 13:8).  We believe that salvation consists of being "born again" of both the water and the spirit (Jn. 3:3), (Mk. 16:16), (Mt. 28:19), (Acts 2:38).  We practice and believe that every man is given a measure of faith and must grow in Christ through faithfulness and obedience as he or she is led of the Holy Spirit through the teaching and preaching of the scripture.  We believe that the church is victorious through Christ and that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together on the first day of the week (Heb. 10:25).  We believe in praying for the sick by annointing them oil in the name of the Lord (Ja. 5:14). We believe in Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord and we are imperfect but are striving to be better for the Kingdom of God.

In closing, there may be larger chapels and churches within the area but bigger is not always better.  You owe it to yourself to visit with us!  We hope to see you soon!
